Vishnu Manchu is an Indian actor, producer, and philanthropist who primarily works in Telugu cinema. He was born on November 23, 1981, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to renowned actor and producer Mohan Babu and Vidya Devi. He is the son of the famous Manchu family, which has a strong presence in the Telugu film industry.
Early Life and Education:
Vishnu Manchu completed his schooling in Chennai and later moved to the United States for his higher studies. He attended the University of South Carolina, where he earned a degree in acting.
Film Career:
Vishnu made his debut in the Telugu film industry with the movie “Vishnu” in 2003, a film that also marked his entry into acting. Although the film didn’t make a significant impact at the box office, it gave him a starting point in the industry. However, it was with “Dhee” (2007) that he truly gained attention, playing the role of a fun-loving character. The film became a commercial success, helping him to establish himself as a promising actor in Telugu cinema.
Personal Life:
Vishnu Manchu is married to Viranica Reddy, and the couple has children. He is known for his philanthropic efforts and supports several causes, particularly those related to health, education, and poverty alleviation.
Vishnu Manchu was elected the president in the elections. He and his team again won the April 2024 elections. On 23 March 2024, MAA President Vishnu Manchu hosted an event at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, marking 90 years of Telugu cinema.
