Sonakshi Sinha was born into a well-known Bollywood family. Her father, Shatrughan Sinha, is a popular Bollywood actor and a political figure, while her mother, Poonam Sinha, was a former Miss India and an actress. Sonakshi spent her early years in Patna but grew up in Mumbai, where she attended Arya Vidya Mandir for her schooling.
She later went on to pursue a degree in fashion designing from the Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University (SNDT) in Mumbai. Before entering the film industry, Sonakshi had worked as a fashion designer and designed costumes for various film productions.
Entry into Bollywood:
Sonakshi Sinha’s entry into Bollywood was marked by her debut in 2010 with the blockbuster film Dabangg, directed by Abhinav Kashyap. In this film, she starred opposite Salman Khan and played the role of Rajjo, a strong, independent woman from a small village.
