Early Life and Background:

Born on November 16, 1983, in Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, India.
His full name is Ghantasala Sai Srinivas Sivakumar.
He comes from a family deeply rooted in the music industry. His father, Ghantasala Siva Kumar, was a drummer, and his mother, Ghantasala Savitri, is a playback singer. He is also the grandson of veteran director and producer Ghantasala Balaramayya.

Musical Journey:

Thaman’s musical journey began at a very young age. At nine, he joined a music team headed by G. Anand, brother of the legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja, as a rhythm pads player.
Due to the untimely demise of his father at the age of 13, Thaman had to discontinue his studies and pursue music professionally to support his family.
He gained valuable experience working with prominent music directors like Raj-Koti and M. M. Keeravani, contributing to numerous films.
Thaman debuted as an independent music composer in 2009 with the Telugu film “Malli Malli” and the Tamil film “Sindhanai Sei.”
