
Prithviraj Sukumaran – Full Biography
Early Life & Education
Prithviraj Sukumaran was born on October 16, 1982, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He comes from a family deeply rooted in the film industry. His father, Sukumaran, was a veteran Malayalam actor, and his mother, Mallika Sukumaran, is also a well-known actress. His elder brother, Indrajith Sukumaran, is an actor, and his sister-in-law, Poornima Indrajith, is a television host and fashion designer.
Prithviraj completed his schooling at St. Mary’s Central School, Poojappura, and later at Sainik School, Kazhakootam, before moving to Bangalore’s Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan. He then pursued a degree in Information Technology at the University of Tasmania, Australia, but left midway to join the film industry.
Film Career
Prithviraj Sukumaran made his debut in 2002 with the Malayalam film “Nandanam”, directed by Ranjith. Since then, he has appeared in over 100 films across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi industries.

He also runs his production company, Prithviraj Productions, which has produced films like 9, Driving License, Kuruthi, and The Goat Life (Aadujeevitham).
