Nimisha Sajayan was born on January 4, 1997, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to Malayali parents from Kollam, Kerala.** Though raised in Mumbai, she later moved to Kerala for her film career.

She holds a black belt in Taekwondo and has represented Maharashtra in national-level championships.
