He comes from a family deeply rooted in the Telugu film industry. His father is the veteran actor Mohan Babu, and his siblings, Lakshmi Manchu and Vishnu Manchu, are also well-known actors and producers.
Manoj made his first appearance on screen as a child artist at the age of ten in the film “Major Chandrakanth.”
He pursued his higher education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Manoj debuted as a lead actor in 2004 with the film “Donga Dongadi.”
He gained significant recognition for his role in the 2010 film “Bindaas,” which earned him the Nandi Special Jury Award.
