    • He is the third of six children, and his family was closely tied to the film industry. His older brother, Nagendra Babu, is also a film producer and actor, and Pawan Kalyan, another brother, is a popular actor and politician (known for his work in Telugu cinema and his role in Jan Sena Party).

    • Chiranjeevi completed his early schooling in Mogalthur and later moved to Chirala, where he studied Intermediate.
    • He then attended Chennai for his Bachelor’s degree in commerce at Sri Y N College.

2. Entry into Films:

  • Debut Film: Chiranjeevi made his acting debut in “Punadhirallu” (1978), but it was “Khiladi” (1980) that marked his first significant role in the industry. However, his first major breakthrough came in 1982 with the film “Indra” (1982).

      • Sushmita (daughter).
      • Sreeja (daughter).

  • IFFI Indian Film Personality of the Year Award 2022: Chiranjeevi was awarded this award. 
  • Outstanding Achievement Award at IIFA 2024: Chiranjeevi was honored with this award in Abu Dhabi. 

Chiranjeevi has also won nine Filmfare Awards and three Nandi Awards. He was also presented the “Raghupathi Venkaiah” Award by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 

Chiranjeevi Konidela was recognized by Guinness World Records as the most prolific film star in the Indian film industry:

    Chiranjeevi performed 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs across 156 films in a span of 45 years. 

Recognition
Chiranjeevi received the Guinness World Records award at an event attended by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan.
