Parvathy Thiruvothu Kottuvatta, popularly known as Parvathy, was born on April 7, 1988, in Kozhikode, Kerala. She completed her education at All Saints’ College, Thiruvananthapuram, with a degree in English Literature.

She initially worked as a TV anchor before making her film debut in 2006. Known for her strong performances, feminist views, and selective film choices, Parvathy is regarded as one of the finest actresses in Indian cinema.
