  • She has an elder brother, Gopikrishna, and a younger sister, Shantipriya, who is also an actress.

  • Bhanupriya began her acting career at the age of 15 with the Tamil film “Mella Pesungal” (1983).
  • Her breakthrough role came in the Telugu film “Sitara” (1983), directed by Vamsy, where she played the lead role. This film established her as a prominent actress in the Telugu film industry.
  • She went on to star in numerous successful films in Telugu, Tamil, and other languages, showcasing her versatility and talent.
